| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: Given the habitat pressures over the years of limited forage, recreation, and development, the East Vail bighorn sheep herd has declined. Rick Thompson, wildlife biologist who has been studying the herd over the past year and a half, will present information on the history of the herd, how they use their winter range, and recommendations to improve habitat. The presentation will be distributed at the meeting on Tuesday.
