| | | | | | | | ITEM/TOPIC: Resolution No. 26, Series of 2019, A Resolution Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement Between the Town of Vail and the Town of Gypsum for Electrical Inspection Services.

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: The State of Colorado, per C.R.S. 12-23-115, requires that electrical inspectors be State licensed electricians. Therefore, in order to provide this service to Town of Vail customers, we have a licensed electrician on staff to perform the proper inspections. However, when our employee is not available for any reason (i.e.: vacation, injury/sick leave, etc.), we will be unable to provide this service to our customers. Thus, we would like to enter into an agreement with the Town of Gypsum to provide "backup coverage" on an as-needed basis.
