| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: Vail Valley Drive is a narrow road that carries vehicles and a significant number of pedestrians who use the Gore Valley Trail. Providing a safe, separate recreational facility for pedestrians has been a critical goal for the town. After a year of public process and review of alternatives, staff has suggested moving forward with a summer trial of Advisory Bike Lanes for a portion of Vail Valley Drive.
