| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: Following the 2018 Supreme Court decision in South Dakota vs Wayfair Colorado began the process of complying with destination based sales tax collections. To simplify and create a less burdensome remittance process for remote sellers, the State of Colorado created a tax simplification software allowing a single point of remittance. As part of participating in this software, adoption of Ordinance No. 9, Series 2020 will update the town code to modify and add certain standard definitions to the town's sales tax code.
