| | | | | | | | ACTION REQUESTED OF COUNCIL: Per Vail Town Charter Section 3.3-3.4, the members will select the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem by motion, as follows "I move _________ be elected as Mayor of the Town of Vail for a two year term which ends at the organizational meeting held after the regular municipal election in November 2019." The motion will require a second and a vote of all members of the council.

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: This vote may be taken by using ballots but would require a motion and approval by the council to use this selection process. Selection of the Mayor Pro Tem requires the same formal action by motion and approval of council.
